The SCS3 Lite tread fits all boots
and shoes in the SCS3 Lite range
• The SCS3 Lite Stirrup tread is equipped with the SCS3 Lite
system, which engage the SCS3 Lite outsole in the SCS3
Lite stirrup tread without permanently ”locking” the stirrup
tread and the outsole. The SCS3 Lite stirrup tread can
adjust position together with SCS3 Lite outsoles anywhere
backwards or forwards in four different positions, depending
on the rider and how he or she sits.
• The SCS3 Lite tread is shaped with a gentle backward
inclination to help you keep your heels down. Together with
the Quick Release Stirrup™, this allows the rider to easily
achieve a better heels down position.
• The lower part of the SCS3 Lite tread is fitted with a soft and
cushioning EVA pad for increased shock absorbing.
The Quick Release Stirrup fits all boots and shoes in the Mountain Horse range. Please
note, however, that the SCS3 Lite system is not fully functional in cases where outsoles
without the SCS3 Lite system are used.
Boots and shoe equipped with SCS3 Lite® can be used with all
other conventional stirrups/stirrup treads on the market. Please
note, however, that it is recommended to use SCS3 Lite® stirrup
treads with the SCS3 Lite® boots in order to maximise performance
of the system.
When the SCS3 Lite® System is not in use (with the SCS3 Lite® Stirrup
tread), then the SCS3 Lite® footwear will function like any other standard
riding footwear and will not feel different in any way, either when riding in
conventional stirrups / stirrup treads or walking etc.This is because the
SCS3 Lite® only uses a rubber tread like any other regular rubber outsole.
